MARINA was on speed when good behind Morialta at Morphettville two starts back and then a touch plain at Naracoorte last time. He looks the one to beat here after the scratching of the top weight. CHALLICUM races well here and draws a nice gate. ALI ORPHAN was a Penola winner three starts back and can run into the multiples.

KEYSOR got back and made good ground behind Sebonna last time. He draws a good gate and should be in the finish again. MULGA LIL has been placed at two of three here but draws wide and needs to lift on last time behind Flow Meter. WHITCHETY GRUB has claims on a Morphettville placings behind Enchantingly back in August. PERSIAN EMPIRE draws the inside.

ROYAL GISELLE was OK behind Bamyan Buddha at Gawler last time running 4th with her best work late. The Will Clarken stable don’t come to Bordertown often and she should take some beating from the perfect barrier. MUSICALLY GIFTED is first-up for Travis Doudle and was runner-up in a recent Morphettville trial. She gets the blinkers and must be kept very safe. SALSBURY HILL has been placed at four of her past five and was good behind Gimme A Reason last time. MAVEN MISSILE was runner-up behind Gondolier here in May and draws a good barrier. NED’S JOURNEY has claims on his placing behind Harry Hot Pants at Naracoorte two starts back.

RACE 4 - 3:10PM Doan Pharmacies Three-Years-Old and Over Maiden Plate (1100 METRES)
TROUBLED TIMES has been placed at six of 15 starts and was OK behind Beaumis at Naracoorte last time. She draws a good gate, has the claim and deserves to break through. DISCO TILMORN ran well behind Gypsy Crown last time out at Penola and should run well despite a tricky barrier. PHILLYVONNE has had the three trials and was 2nd in her latest behind Jester Puppet but draws a wide gate. WITCHEL has been placed at four of 17 ran well when placed behind We Will Remember at Gawler two starts back. DETNAW has been around the mark finishing 4th behind Gypsy Crown last time and must be respected.

FIVE POCKET won at Mindarie-Halidon and then Gawler beating Free Of Sin before stepping up to city class and running down the track behind Hearty Lass at Morphettville. She draws the inside and looks hard to beat. BARACONI is second-up and should strip fitter for her first-up run when down the track behind Valuable Witness at Murray Bridge. She should give this a shake. RHYTHMATIC was runner-up behind Ranger Frank two starts back and maps to get a good run from barrier two. GYPSY CROWN led throughout to score a good win in maiden class at Penola last time and must be respected despite the wide barrier. YOU ES MARSHAL ran well last time and DASKULYA have claims.

RACE 6 - 4:30PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Benchmark 62 Handicap (Heat 10 Happy Trails Series) (1300 METRES)
STAR JAN was off the map from $5.50 into $2.40 when beaten into 4th spot behind Scenic Host at Penola when resuming. She draws wide but gets her chance to atone here. ANNIKA has a handy record and should strip fitter for one run back from a spell behind Outpost at Morphettville and looks well graded here despite a tricky barrier. SHOCK ALERT ran well first-up from a break making good ground behind Wild Willy at Naracoorte and was a Donald winner last time in work. TOUGH LASSIE was OK behind Carbone last time and must be considered. RUNBRO was a Naracoorte winner before being placed here behind Exalted Ambition before a break. He draws well and looks right in this but is going to be better suited over further. MISS MOSH has won two of four here and made good ground behind Carbone last time at Penola and she must be respected. BUBBLERAP was a winner here in January and hasn’t raced since running 4th at Penola behind Free Of Sin. ENZED BEER is a former Victorian who had some specking at odds when first-up behind Noname Lane at Morphettville. This is a big drop in class. HARBOUR EXPRESS ran OK at odds behind Wild Willy at Naracoorte last time.

RACE 7 - 5:00PM Bordertown Haulage Benchmark 54 Handicap (1200 METRES)
CANIDAE was a Balaklava winner back in January and has won four of seven with two placings here. His recent form is good enough to give this a big shake. HIGH DELTA was placed back in July at Warracknabeal and then OK at Mildura. He was right in the market last time at Avoca when he was pulled out of the race and looks to have found a very winnable race. JIVE BABY comes off a good run when 3rd behind Tahnee Tradition at Murray Bridge and that’s solid form for a race like this. SAND CAT has won 10 races and is more than capable in this class despite a tricky wide gate. TEESHA was a winner here in July and hit the line strongly from a long way back behind Rodney last time. MIGHTY MOSHE comes out of the same race and wasn’t beaten far her previous at Jamestown was OK.
