Lincoln Moore's Murray Bridge Preview

BEST BET: CHAMPAGNE DREAMS (Race 3)

EACH-WAY: SINGLETON PARK (Race 8)

VALUE: SHOTS (Race 7)

RACE 1 - 11:23AM FibreTrack Benchmark 120 Steeplechase (3360 METRES)

Any one of these can win given the right run. LUCQUES was placed in the Von Doussa and Brierly this campaign and his best form would have him fighting out the finish. Local PENTELLIGENTSIA is a promising chaser and one to follow next season. He ran super in the Great Eastern back in April and looks a threat. The best version of HISTORIC is probably a winner in this type of class, he commands respect. COLERIDGE was placed at Hamilton three starts back and SEARAVEN was runner-up here three starts back in similar conditions.

SELECTIONS: LUCQUES, Penelligentsia, Historic

RACE 2 - 12:00PM Festival Hire Benchmark 120 Hurdle (3360 METRES)

Eric Musgrove has a leading hand here again and LOOKING AROUND scored easily at Hamilton scoring by 6 lengths last time and looks the one to beat. BUCKEYE NATION has firmed following scratchings and MAZAZ was placed behind Looking Around at Hamilton last time and ROUGH BEAUTY could run a cheeky race.

SELECTIONS: LOOKING AROUND, Mazaz, Buckeye Nation

RACE 3 - 12:40PM IronGate Two-Year-Old Benchmark 62 Handicap (900 METRES)

CHAMPAGNE DREAMS scored a nice Morphettville win on debut at good odds before taking on some handy types and chasing Cloudy in stronger races during the carnival. She's jumped out well for her return and will take beating on her debut performance. THEY CALL ME ALVIN was an impressive winner here on debut and should give this a big shake again. BRAZEN BOY ran well ridden quietly last time. He draws a nice gate and will be in the mix. He's capable of leading these and did smash horses in a trial before debuting early in the season. JAAZEB is on debut for the Gordon Richards stable and jumped out well recently. She's from a good family and can run well in a race like this. TAKEOFF TIME is on debut, was only fair in a Morphettville trial but has jumped out better since.

SELECTIONS: CHAMPAGNE DREAMS, Brazen Boy, They Call Me Alvin

RACE 4 - 1:20PM SA Women In Hotels Maiden Plate (1000 METRES)

LAMOREE was well backed on debut to run favourite when and then returned to racing and was OK behind behind Madam Furphy last time. She draws wide but the Jolly stable is going well and she looks hard to beat here. EFFORTKAT was racing well before a break and has been placed in all four starts here. She is going to win a maiden. CHEH CHEH CHARLEE ran better leading them up behind Lomax at Gawler. AMMO AMOR won a recent Morphettville trial and can measure up here.

SELECTIONS: LAMOREE, Effortkat, Cheh Cheh Charlee

RACE 5 - 1:55PM B&L Cox Electrical Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate (1400 METRES)

TUAKANA is on debut for Travis Doudle and looked pretty handy winning a recent Morphettville jump out easily. He wears the blinkers for his first start and wouldn't need to be a world beater to get the job done here. GOLIOTUS was runner-up at Hamilton on debut before a handy effort behind Short Stories at Morphettville last start. He should be right in the finish here. JUST JAZZ has been around the mark in maiden grade and wasn't far away here two starts back when 4th behind Victory Club. SHE'S ALL SPICE is an interesting one. She had very good market support here on Saturday but was plain behind Spinola Bay.

SELECTIONS: TUAKANA, Goliotus, Just Jazz

RACE 6 - 2:30PM Terry Critchley Accountant Maiden/Class One Plate (1800 METRES)

CAPRICORN RIDGE has returned to racing well chasing home Shopster at Gawler first-up before another solid effort behind Betta Eddie here last time. He gets his chance to break through here. LUTZ is showing promise and drops back in trip after an easy Strathalbyn win. NATIVE BLUE ran well behind Turn Table at Gawler last week while FREDDY THE EAGLE is lightly raced and should appreciate getting out in distance. SILENT DON was a good winner at Balaklava on debut and will find this much easier than chasing home Star Of Uma at Morphettville last time.

SELECTIONS: CAPRICORN RIDGE, Lutz, Native Blue

RACE 7 - 3:05PM Weddings at Bridges Event Centre Maiden/Class One Plate (1800 METRES)

CELTIC VALOUR looks nicely suited here. He was a good winner under similar conditions earlier this campaign and he was good behind Does It last time at Gawler. The wide gate could play into his favour. MR POCKET has ability and should appreciate these conditions, his effort behind Call Me Shamus at Gawler two starts back is good form for this. SHOTS hasn't raced for a while but has been ready to race for a while and is sure to be fit enough first-up at 1800m. He was a winner here last June. TANAKA SON was good winning at Gawler last time, looks to have upside and should be right in a race like this. EXALTED DENNIS has been a big shortener in overnight markets and is on his home deck. SMILING ASSASSIN will be up on speed and was OK behind Does It last time.

SELECTIONS: CELTIC VALOUR, Mr Pocket, Shots

RACE 8 - 3:40PM Carlton Draught Benchmark 58 Handicap (1400 METRES)

Wide open race and settled on SINGLETON PARK first-up in SA. He wasn't far away at Pakenham two runs back and looks well graded here from a good barrier. MASARU WARRIOR defeated Capricorn Ridge here back in December and has trialled OK for his return to racing. YULE MY HERO is a consistent type who was runner-up here behind Cool Magnum three starts back and this is a drop in class on last time. GRIMESY has ability and ran well behind Victory Club here last time. YE HELLA is racing well and rode the speed to win at Balaklava two runs back. KEYSOR has very good market support last time but only battled. MISS MOSH is worth some thought, especially in the wet conditions.

SELECTIONS: SINGLETON PARK, Masaru Warrior, Yule My Hero

RACE 9 - 4:15PM Magic Millions Benchmark 56 Handicap (1000 METRES)

THAT GIRL is handy on her day but has been a while away from the winners stall. She is back in class having chased home Trygve and Poysed To Rein her last couple and will struggle to find a better chance to break through. CARTIER TIARA has been placed at two of three starts here and was strong through the line beating Sitting Bull at Gawler last time which is solid form for this. LUCKY DOG strips fitter and does like the sting out of the ground, while GENERAL MINT looks a touch of overs back in class. KISHSTAR was a winner here at her only start this track and trip and comes off an OK effort behind Magic Phantom at Balaklava. She has claims here.

SELECTIONS: THAT GIRL, Cartier Tiara, General Mint
