Personal heads bumper Oaks bunch aimed at Adelaide

VICTORIAN Oaks winner Personal will chase a second Group 1 victory in Saturday week’s $502,250 Australasian Oaks (2000m) at Morphettville.

The Lindsay Park-trained filly will make the trip back from Sydney in a bid to regain winning form in the feature.

She was runner-up first-up in the Group 3 Vanity Stakes at Flemington then ran third behind Starelle in the Group 3 Kewney before an unsuccessful Sydney trip where she was beaten nine lengths behind Hungry Heart in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes.

Unbeaten Tasmanian filly Hela will make her mainland debut in the feature after she extended her winning sequence to seven at Hobart on Sunday.

Last-start Auraria Stakes winner Tyche Goddess is one of two nominations for Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young, with last start Terang maiden winner Glamdam also entered.

Boom filly Steinem, who was beaten into fourth placing in the Auraria, is also among entires along with Laudeylou and Penso A Lei from the Ciaron Maher-David Eustace stable.
